Lone Pine California

Mt Whitney Area

Lone Pine (3,727-ft) is a small western town in the arid Owens Valley flanked to the west by a wall of jagged granite peaks along the Sierra Crest, anchored by Mount Whitney (14,496-ft).

Did you know that the highest (Mt Whiney) and lowest (Death Valley) altitudes in the continental US are within a one hour drive?
